Gabriel Seeks Validation

In the Mistral medical office, Jennifer (Diane Dassigny) tells Léa that Riva is in a foul mood today. As if on cue, Riva steps out of his office and sharply calls for the next patient, leaving Léa taken aback.

Later that day, over lunch at Le Mistral, Gabriel shares his frustrations with Léa about the monotony of typical medical cases. He expresses how uninspiring he finds his work lately, saying, ‘This winter will just bring us colds and chickenpox. Ever since that intoxication incident, it all feels so dull. That adrenaline rush was much more thrilling.’

After their meal, Gabriel confides in Thomas (Laurent Kérusoré) that he craves more recognition for his contributions in solving the poisoning case, something he feels is overlooked by the police.

Just then, Jules arrives to express his gratitude to Gabriel for saving his life, which brings Gabriel joy as it is a rare instance of acknowledgment. Jules also wants to interview him, an opportunity Riva eagerly grabs.

Vadim Involved in Blood Trafficking

Meanwhile, at the medical office, Babeth finds Vadim (Léo Mazo) uninvited in her workspace. Surprised, she questions his presence, and he retorts that he’s just making sure his patients are fine, stating ‘I can’t afford any mistakes due to your incompetence with technology.’

Jennifer watches the exchange in shock, dismayed by Vadim’s audacity, while Babeth seems to be accepting his overreach without protest.

Later on, Steve runs into Vadim at the residence, and an argument ensues before Vadim storms off to his room. Nisma, curious about the commotion, asks Steve for details, to which he explains it was merely an accident.

As Nisma wanders the corridor alone, she notices small drops of blood on the floor and follows them to Vadim’s room.

Realizing he accidentally broke one of the blood samples he had taken from the clinic, Vadim starts to panic at the sight of the leaked blood. Just then, Nisma knocks on his door.

When Vadim answers, he makes it seem like he’s hurt himself. Nisma inquires whether Steve is responsible for the incident, to which Vadim implicates Steve. Will Nisma turn against her ex-boyfriend?

Zoé’s Disturbing Discovery

Meanwhile, Louis has spent a restless night hiding in the drains. At the police station, Boher informs Ariane that the SPIP (Service Pénitentiaire d’Insertion et de Probation) has alerted them that Louis’ electronic bracelet has stopped sending signals since last night.

At that moment, Zoé is at the Massalia residence with Steve and Jules, and the two share that they heard unsettling noises overnight.

In the laundry area, Zoé discovers Louis Robbie trapped behind a wall. After opening a trapdoor to free him, Louis spins a tale about being locked in while attempting to fix a water leak, aware that law enforcement is likely searching for him. However, as she prepares to leave, Zoé sees him bizarrely banging his head against a table. What could be the reason for his distress?

Later, Louis faces questioning at the Mistral police station regarding his unexplained absence, crafting a story that he was attacked by three men on the street.

Jean-Paul tells Louis a new electronic bracelet will be issued, while Ariane warns him that she’s keeping tabs on him—any sign of wrongdoing, and he’ll be back in jail.

As night approaches, Zoé walks with Ariane through the streets of Marseille. Ariane shares Louis’ story of being attacked, though she confesses her skepticism about his claims.

That evening, Zoé sneaks back to the residence, slipping through the laundry hole, and makes a shocking find: behind a stone wall is a potential escape route. Is Louis preparing to flee?
