Anti-vaccine demonstrators follow Legault’s procession, an arrest

The CAQ general council, which is being held this weekend in Trois-Rivières, attracts its share of anti-vaccine demonstrators. Already on Friday, François Amalega Bitondo, a notorious activist opposed to health measures, was arrested at the Alphonse-Desjardins Entrepreneurship Center in Shawinigan, while Prime Minister Legault was there.

About fifteen activists demonstrated on Saturday morning in relative calm at the Center for Events and Interactive Congresses (CECi), where members of the CAQ meet. They were more than thirty at the beginning of the afternoon. The police do not report any overflow for the moment.
