“Anti-Semitic acts in France have tripled since last fall and 887 incidents have been recorded in this first half of the year alone.”said Friday August 9 Gérald Darmanin, resigning Minister of the Interior, currently traveling to rue des Rosiers in Paris to pay tribute to the victims of the attack that occurred on August 9, 1982.

This increase began following October 7, with 1,200 acts recorded between the Hamas attack in Israel and the end of 2023. In France, 60% of anti-religious acts are anti-Semitic.
