The anti-racist activists, dressed in T-shirts flocked with SOS Racism’s yellow “Do not touch my buddy” hand, were quickly directed to the exit. Supporters of Eric Zemmour then took the direction of the back room, some appearing “ready to do battle”, according to journalists from France Televisions and Release on the spot. There would be “obviously injured”.

“We came to take a peaceful action, to say that everyone did not agree and to oppose it in a peaceful manner”, explained an activist, with her face covered in blood, at the exit, to the independent journalist Clément Lanot. “I thought we were in a democracy and that we could say what we had to say without physical consequences.”
