Anthony Colette drops bomb on what ‘Dancing with the Stars’ production did to him

When there is no more, there is still some. TF1 thought it was free of controversies linked to
Dance with the stars
, after the endless episode between Ines Reg and Natasha St-Pier, but that’s not the case. And this time, it was Keiona who ignited the powder. The drag queen did not fail to settle scores with judge Chris Marques after a wild samba rewarded with a simple “7”. Enough to enrage the artist, who wanted to explain himself to the professional dancer during the show’s afterparty.

“I hear that I have a level and abilities, but I don’t think that I should be held in such contempt. I don’t feel judged in the same way as my competitors, my friends today, and I would like someone to give me a little more grace, to appreciate the efforts to connect with Maxime given the major problems. I’m sorry, that. it’s not a 7, I wanted to say thatKeiona then declared.

A sequence which had cooled the atmosphere but livened up social networks, where many Internet users had sided with the candidate. And they are not the only ones showing their support. Professional dancer Christian Millette thus assured that he “was not possible to give a 7” to the performance offered by Keiona, and that it didn’t make sense.

“You don’t see each other but…”

And to drive the point home, Anthony Colette also wanted to give his professional opinion on the situation. In a live on his Twitch channel, where the dancer lingers more and more to chat with his fans, Anthony Colette judged that Keiona Maxime Dereymez’s performance was “very good” and that he did not understand the score given by Chris Marques. But did it have to be said loud and clear? “Either you smile and say nothing, or you wear your c*illes and you act like Maxime [Dereymez]. And even Keiona got heated, she smashed me, it was so funny”judges the dancer a posteriori.

And the latter even wanted to show his support for the couple live… but this did not pass through to the production side, as he explains a few minutes later: “You don’t see yourself but when she spoke during the after party, she was worshipful, you could see that she was touched and they were filming me during that moment. I saw it because there was the red button of the camera on me, and I did this…”explains Anthony Colette before miming an explicit gesture of supportfists clenched.

“And lo and behold, they cut it, but they didn’t tell me anything afterwards”, then reveals the dancer. Viewers were therefore unable to see this sequence on their screen. The management chose to broadcast wide shots of the set, then tighter shots only of Keiona and Chris Marques, who was trying to justify himself in the face of the candidate’s attacks.
