Another pizzeria was the target of an arson attempt overnight from Wednesday to Thursday in Repentigny.
The fire reportedly broke out shortly before 3 a.m. when one or more suspects threw an incendiary object at the front of the Bella Pizza establishment located on Notre-Dame Street East.
Firefighters from the fire department, who quickly brought the fire under control, found an incendiary object at the scene, while the damage to the pizzeria was very minor.
Given the criminal nature of this fire, the investigation was transferred to the Repentigny Police Department, which will have to shed light on what really happened.
As a reminder, several pizzerias have been targeted by suspicious fires recently in Greater Montreal, sometimes causing enormous damage to establishments.
