I read with interest the article by Christian Rioux in Duty from last Thursday October 3, entitled “The soul of a people”, in which a 75-year-old writer is saddened to see, he says, the decline in the level of French. Well, I immediately thought of the hurricane of freshness raised a few days ago by the passage in a bookstore in my town of the artist Jérôme 50, who came to talk about his Dictionary of chiller, which will be published at the end of the month and which will be a reference for anyone who wants to understand the language of young people in Quebec. This publication seems to me, in some way, to be an uninhibited love song for an evolving language carried by a new generation.
