Another business was the target of an arson attack on the night of Sunday to Monday in Saint-Laurent, Montreal.

A 911 call reported to Montreal police a broken window in a business located on Deslauriers Street, near Lebeau Boulevard.

When the police arrived on the scene, they found a smashed shop window in the commercial premises and the start of a fire quickly brought under control by the firefighters.
An incendiary object was found on the spot, according to the spokesperson for the Police Department of the City of Montreal, Caroline Chèvrefils.
No one was injured and no arrests were made, said agent Chèrevefils, adding that the investigation was transferred to the arson section of the SPVM.

The scene was protected by a security perimeter for the investigators who should move there in the morning to try to understand what happened.
This is the fourth business to be targeted by an incendiary object in the space of a week in the same sector.
