Anny Duperey, whose clumsy comments contravene the very meaning of our child protection action, informed us that she had expressed regrets and apologized to Judith Godrèche. We salute him“, writes the SOS Children’s Villages association in a press release. “However, by mutual agreement, we agreed that it was preferable to put an end to his sponsorship“, adds SOS Children’s Villages.

The actress Anny Duperey, 76 years old, had described as “extremely exaggerated“the statements of actress Judith Godrèche, 51, on the influence and sexual and physical violence that she says she experienced as a minor at the hands of directors Benoît Jacquot and Jacques Doillon.”Six years with a director, under the influence, I agree, but still consenting, right?“, Anny Duperey pretended to wonder on RTL at the beginning of February. She then apologized, explaining that she had wanted, “very clumsily (…) temper the media excitement“.

“Respect the words of children”

I would like to express my apologies to Judith Godrèche and to all the victims who were offended by my clumsy remarks. I regret that my first reaction was not to condemn the inexcusable“, she declared shortly after. The director of SOS Children’s Villages France, Isabelle Moret, thanks the actress.for his commitment” And “its availability for many years“, Who “were particularly valuable to us“. Anny Duperey has been godmother since 1993.

This association takes care of siblings, entrusted by Child Welfare (ASE) as part of a legal measure. “Welcoming, hearing, respecting the words of children, in all circumstances, is at the heart of our associative project. Protecting them is the driving force behind our commitment“, underlines the association, which judges that”in all circumstances, speech must be freed“.

On February 7, Judith Godrèche filed a complaint against Benoit Jacquot, 77, for “violent rape” of a minor under 15 years old. She lived with him from 1986 – she was then 14 and he was 39 – until the early 1990s. A few days later, she accused another director, Jacques Doillon, 79, of sexual violence, again for alleged facts that occurred when she was a minor.
