Anny Duperey frankly on Jean-Paul Belmondo: “The current did not pass between us!”

An emblematic figure on the boards, on small and large screens, Anny Duperey has accumulated heaps of memories since the start of her career. She rubbed shoulders with the craziest talents, in front of and behind the cameras, and has some difficult moments… especially during the year 1974, when she was filming with Jean-Paul Belmondo, for Alain Resnais in the film Staviskythe actress had in particular rubbed shoulders with a sacred challenge: to play the wife of a man that she absolutely could not bear.

They ended up sharing a nice friendship, and the disappearance of the actor, on September 6, 2021, was a test. But originally, Anny Duperey was completely allergic to Jean-Paul Belmondo. “I must admit that the current did not pass between usexplains the young grandmother in the columns of the magazine Star TV. To be honest, I must have been the type of woman that scared him.

Things were admittedly tense between these two on the set of the film. Stavisky, but time has done its job and eased tensions. Years later, Anny Duperey met Jean-Paul Belmondo at the exit of a theater and she took her courage in both hands to try to bury the hatchet. “I went up to him and told him how stupid we had been.
