For more than 50 years, Annie Pichotmanager of the “restaurant de la Grotte” in Combes-Remonot (Doubs)was at the rendezvous with a single card, which fits in a few lines. The strange building is stuck in a cliff. Impossible to miss Annie’s restaurant, a house built in the 1920s by the village priest, very close to a miraculous cave supposed to cure eye diseases. In recent days, Annie has received several letters from somewhat orphaned customers. “I will miss my clients, that’s for sure“, she also smiles at her side. After the weekend of October 1 and 2, the restaurant will definitely close its lid. Annie’s last banquet already promises to be memorable.
