Annie de L’Amour is in the meadow” needs € 23,000 to revive after a tragedy at home

In 2012, Annie, a farmer from Vaucluse, joined season 7 of the show “L’amour est dans le pré”. After meeting two suitors, the young woman finally left on the arm of a man named Thierry. An idyll which also ended in a marriage less than a year after the broadcast of the show!

More than a decade after her participation in the program presented by Karine Le Marchand Annie, unfortunately, is no longer in a relationship with Thierry and must now face some financial worries. On the web, the horse breeder has indeed made it known that her stud farm was decimated after a tragic event: “On the morning of April 28, a helicopter flew over the power line on the edge of my property and remained on stand-by above the pylon. This caused panic throughout my farm, the horses broke the fences, under extreme stress. I lost my most beautiful mare Victoire, best broodmare and daughter of Impala my grand prix stallion and foal. She was almost full term, ran into the fences, and after 8 days prostrate without eating she had her foal born blind. Despite care for 5 days and nights, I had to have them euthanized, mother and baby. I have 1 mare injured in the hip, 4 lame horses injured in their kick following the great scare….” she said before adding: “Financially, it’s catastrophic. I lost 7 horses between 15 and 20,000 euros. In 10 minutes, I lost 45 years of selection, half of my breeding”.

Touched by the complicated situation of their friend, Pierre and Frédérique, another leading couple of the show “L’Amour est dans le pré” have decided to launch an online kitty to raise money to help her. . In the description of the Leetchi kitty, Annie laments her daily life: “I may look rich because I have beautiful horses, and a beautiful stud farm, and I live in a wealthy environment around me, but that’s not my personal case. I earn almost nothing and am still in deficit despite my 70-hour work week and an immense passion for my horses. How can we continue to fight in such circumstances?

If €23,000 is “requested”, the farmer explains what this fine sum would be used for: €3,000 for veterinary costs for horse care, €15,000 for the value of her brood mare, €5,000 for the embryo transfer of his sister for fertilization, to be able to compensate for the death of the foal and guarantee the same lineage as that of the deceased. For the moment less than 2000€ have been collected for the fifties in difficulty.
