Anne-Sophie Lapix at war with Bixente Lizarazu, she challenges him directly on Instagram

If Anne-Sophie Lapix maintains rather stormy relations with a lot of political figures, she is however very close to a former world-renowned footballer. This is… Bixente Lizarazu! Like the former champion, the famous journalist is from Saint-Jean-de-Luz (Pyrénées-Atlantiques) and they were both born in the Basque Country.

Asked by the footballer who became a consultant and radio host, Anne-Sophie Lapix confided in her love for the region: “I am attached to the landscapes, to nature, to the sea in particular. And obviously, I have my family there too that I like to find again. It is an intense, physical relationship with this country”.

A vision shared by Bixente Lizarazu: “The difference between the Basque Country of my childhood and that of adulthood is that I rediscovered it by bike. I was further inland, so As a teenager, I was always on the coast. I discovered sublime villages and landscapes. I also approached it in another way with my boat. I was able to sail along the coast and admire these sumptuous cliffs of the Basque coast” he explained in an interview with OBS.

Anne-Sophie Lapix and Bixente Lizarazu at war
This love for the Basque landscapes generated between the two celebrities, a small photographic war. Both are now fighting to publish the prettiest new shot on social networks. Last April, the presenter of the JT of France 2 had thus shared a sumptuous photo… without forgetting to mention his rival. The latter then responded with the publication of a new photo, declaring: “The boss of the Basque sunset is back… Hello to my apprentice photographer Anne-Sophie Lapix”.

And after a short period of respite, the 50-year-old journalist has just relaunched hostilities by publishing a new snapshot revealing a pretty sunset. “Hello Bixente Lizarazu! Are you sleeping?” she captioned the photo. Very quickly, the darling of Claire Keim responded by declaring “I can’t use my arm”. Very teasing, her rival then retorted: “I thought you took them with your feet so far”.
