Anne-Sophie Lapix anxious before her first concert in the Basque Country!

Originally from Saint-Jean-de-Luz in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Anne-Sophie Lapix regularly makes small returns to the country. During each holiday period, the star of the 20 hours of France 2 takes the opportunity to rush to the most beautiful beaches in the region and post photos of sumptuous sunsets. A way for the journalist to tease a certain Bixente Lizarazu, also from the Basque Country.

This love for end-of-day snapshots sparked a small photographic war between the two celebrities. Both are now fighting to publish the prettiest new shot on social networks. Last April, the presenter of the JT of France 2 had thus shared a sumptuous photo… without forgetting to mention his rival. The latter then responded with the publication of a new photo, stating: “The boss of the Basque sunset is back… Hello to my apprentice photographer Anne-Sophie Lapix“. Asked by the footballer who became a consultant and radio host, the journalist confided in his love for the region: “I am attached to landscapes, to nature, to the sea in particular. And of course, I have my family there too that I like to meet again. It’s an intense, physical relationship with this country.“.

But this Friday, August 12, 2022, it is a completely different fight that Anne-Sophie Lapix will lead on the side of Guéthary. The journalist is about to give her first concert as a… narrator! She will indeed be performing at the Classic festival. In the Saint-Nicolas church, she will be accompanied by the musicians Katia and Marielle Labèque, world-famous virtuosos. An unpublished score which was played last year during a concert by Renaud Capuçon. “Katia and Marielle were there, I took my courage in both hands and went to canvass them, a bit like a salesperson“, says Anne-Sophie Lapix to the newspaper Sud Ouest. A few hours before performing for the first time on stage, the presenter of 8 p.m. confides her anxieties: “It’s quite impressive but I love the idea, a real pleasure“, she confides. The forties will recite a text specially written by the Italian writer Alessandro Baricco.
