François Civil continues to surprise his admirers! On April 5, the public will be able to find him at the cinema via the film “The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan”, first part of a saga inspired by the work of Alexandre Dumas. On screen, the actor who embodies d’Artagnan gives the reply to Pio Marmaï (Porthos), Vincent Cassel (Athos), Romain Duris (Aramis).
And that’s not all ! Louis Garrel who lends his features to King Louis XIII is also in the game. In the same way as Eva Green who plays the role of Milady de Winter, a key character who will carry the second salvo of fiction scheduled for December 13, 2023. This Friday, March 31, 2023 at the microphone of RTL Evening, François Civil made some confidences on the set. The opportunity for him to say more about his casting. To get his role, the actor was ready for anything!
“Three days before, I was offered this meeting with Dimitri Rassam, the producer to talk to me about the project”, entrusted the principal concerned to our colleagues. “I learn that it’s ‘Les Mousquetaires’ and I say to myself: ‘I have to play my all-out’. I had long hair at the time, so I made myself a little ponytail, I trimmed mustache”. Determined, the artist has perfectly potashed his speech to seduce the husband of Charlotte Casiraghi.

“I lied by telling him that ‘Les Mousquetaires’ was my bedside book, when I had bought it two days before as an audio book”, confessed François Civil. “By listening to him x3 to try to speed up the story a bit to have a few cartridges to get out of him”. A casualness that proved him right, as evidenced by the feedback from the public during the previews.
That same day, Pierre Niney’s sidekick also made a remarkable appearance on the set of “It’s up to you”. Quite proud of the interviewer, the presenter, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine, praised her many qualities on the air: “François. You are charming, carefree, insolent…”. “Wow…”, dropped his interlocutor, a bit embarrassed and amused. “D’Artagan” concluded the host despite the embarrassment once again feigned by the star: “‘The Three Musketeers’ which was not necessarily your bedside book, but is that what you tried to make producer Dimitri Rassam believe?”. “I succeeded”, replied François Civil, all smiles before explaining the famous anecdote. Something to shock the journalist!
