In July 2016, Anne-Elisabeth Blateau became the mother of a little boy named Hadrien. A son she confides in very little, if ever. Interviewed on the occasion of the Scenes of households entitled The good life, (broadcast on December 6, 2021 on M6), the actress has made beautiful secrets about her child.
The happy mother of a little boy now aged 5, the 45-year-old star does not hide having been literally destabilized by the birth of her son. “I am an absolute fan of my son, I am a cake mom, rather worried. When I first returned home with this infant, I was traumatized! I didn’t know what to do, I stood like that for an hour. The bath was a drama, I was too scared“, she explained to Current wife.
Fortunately, the anguish quickly left. Anne-Elisabeth Blateau can also thank the short program which allowed her, since he plays a mother, to prepare. She tells : “It gave me some keys. I knew I wasn’t going to sleep anymore, and I had learned to put on a diaper! But it’s obviously different in real life, it was the great adventure.“And to continue:”At the time, I didn’t even know how to carry a baby and I didn’t want children, so I really sucked. There are scenes where I had to change diapers for example, and the director would tell me: ‘No, no, don’t do that because you’re killing him, your gesture is not good!‘”
Now, Anne-Elisabeth Blateau is sometimes even inspired by her daily life as a mother when she shoots a scene. She says, with humor: “My son is 5 years old, so I don’t have to compose much anymore when I play Emma who can’t take her daughter anymore! [rires] It sure speaks to me a lot more than at the beginning, when I had no children.“
And is little Hadrien a fan of his mother? The actress who has long struggled to watch herself on television found that her son was a categorical critic: “I watched TV once with my son, by chance, and he said to me: ‘But, that’s not funny mom!’. “Ouch!
