Having become an important figure at TF1 in just a few years, Anne-Claire Coudray is unquestionably one of the channel’s most versatile journalists. Between the presentation of the weekend news, the weekly show Great Reportselection nights, special editions and various important events, his schedule is full!
But what is his secret to keep this infernal rhythm? At 45, this news “superwoman” sees, like everyone else, time passing and has therefore found an unstoppable technique to keep in shape and try to counter the signs of aging. “The sport ! I got into it late…I try to do it three times a week. I regret not having started sooner. But it’s definitely my antidote to aging“, she confided to the magazine Gala.
Originally from Brittany, the one who replaced Claire Chazal in 2015 also tries to keep only the positive in her life: during confinement, when she was at the head of special programs and tried to inform the French about the crisis, it retains, for example, the mutual aid between people and the solidarity that had developed around caregivers. “I decided to keep only the examples of solidarity, the applause for the caregivers, the merchants who sold the goods of those who no longer had the right to open. And our immense ability to adapt! She was amazing. But I’m the type to watch the glass half full“, she says.
A life lesson that she is surely trying to pass on to her daughter, Amalya, born in 2015. A little girl who always brings her down to earth: when the magazine tells her about her concerns and her last text messages sent, no interviews with the president or ministers. No, she thinks of “menus” of her little princess (whose father is the businessman Nicolas Vix), whom she carefully protects from all media coverage. Mom (almost) like the others, she organizes “birthday parties with ten friends“for the little girl and in”fate washed away“. Result: his heroines have now become “kindergarten teachers“!
And as a reminder, the coming days will not be easy for the journalist: Sunday, in the company of Gilles Bouleau, she will be at the head of a special program to announce the results of the first round of the presidential election. A task she knows well but which is not very easy. “It’s quite exhausting! We adapt at the last moment. We receive the latest estimates ten to fifteen minutes before the “reveal” at 8 p.m. This time, in addition, no polling station closes at 6 p.m. All close at 7 or 8 p.m. We may not be able to announce the result at 8 p.m. We think about all the solutions, because we cannot afford to communicate a winner if there is the slightest doubt“, she explained in an interview for TV Magazine.
