Anjou | Argument leaves two injured, one of them arrested

(Montreal) Two men were injured in the upper body by blows from sharp objects during an apparent argument between them at the start of the night, Thursday, in the northeast of Montreal.


The two men, aged 28 and 32, were both taken to hospital. They were then conscious, according to the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), and in the middle of the night, there was no indication that their state of health had deteriorated.

The police were alerted by a call made to the 911 emergency telephone center around 12:50 a.m. advising that a man was injured in an apartment in a building on Avenue d’Allonnes, near the intersection of avenue Fontevrault, in a residential area of ​​the borough of Anjou.

The police who arrived at the scene found two injured men.

Reports prompted officers to arrest the 32-year-old. He will be questioned by the police when his state of health permits.

A few hours after the altercation, the police were not yet able to reveal the motive.

SPVM investigators were to examine the crime scene during the night.
