The hilarious comedy “The Goats!” by Fred Cavayé, with Dany Boon and Jérôme Commandeur, arrives Wednesday February 21 at the cinema. The film takes us back to the 17th century, when animals could be tried for a crime like men.
A duel of arguments between two comedy heavyweights. On one side, Dany Boon, with millions of cinema admissions, on the other, under a wig, Jérôme Commandeur, with successful shows and films. The two actors are reunited in the film The goats !at the cinema Wednesday February 21, 16 years later Welcome to the Ch’tis. They will face each other in an improbable trial, in which the accused is a goat. A misunderstanding that makes the film so interesting.
Totally crazy audience
A totally crazy hearing, but which was inspired by real animal trials. Until the 18the century, farm animals, and even insects could be brought before justice, in the same way as men. “There were many animals, cats, dogs… Cats were burned for witchcraft, incredible things. Often, in films, we say to ourselves, if we tell the truth, no one will believe it and well there, I can swear to you that it existed.”says Fred Cavayé, the director.
