Angoulême Festival: Isabelle Carré and Joséphine Japy, natural beauties in front of André Dussollier

An end to the holidays in the dark rooms! This Tuesday, August 23, the world of cinema made its comeback after the summer at the traditional Angoulême Festival, organized for 15 years by Dominique Besnehard and which this year will present several event films such as A great racewith Dany Boon and Line Renaud (who received a beautiful tribute from the Festival elsewhere), but also the biopic on Simone Veil and rumba lifeby Franck Dubosc, in theaters this Wednesday.

But for this first day, it was Isabelle Carré who made her appearance at the Festival: the 51-year-old actress had indeed come to defend her new feature film, Continental Drift (to the south), a committed and political fiction on the reception of migrants in Europe. Radiant and dressed very simply in jeans and a black shirt, the discreet mother of three children was ready to present her film to the public, accompanied by the Swiss director Lionel Baier.

Other actresses had also made the trip to Charente, such as Gwendoline Hamon, who will chair the Student Jury during the festival. Sublime in a long multicolored silk dress, the actress recently seen in Cassandra Where We’ll end up together was smiling, not far from Michèle Torr, who also came to attend the opening night.

The singer with a dazzling smile, yet rather far from the spotlight for a few years, found Dominique Besnehard on the red carpet and took advantage of her friend before and after the screenings: the two posed together many times in front of the photographers. For the grand opening night, the most famous agent of stars had also chosen an orange and blue T-shirt with the most beautiful effect!

Finally, the jury was obviously present in full force, its president André Dussollier in the lead: triple rewarded at the César, the actor is a regular at this kind of event and was undoubtedly able to give some advice to his jurors, among whom we counted including journalist Patrick Cohen and musician Alex Beaupain.

To complete this jury, Joséphine Japy was natural, with little makeup but still smiling. Seeming delighted to be there, the young woman had chosen a long black dress and pumps with very small heels, a perfect way to adapt to the summer temperatures that are hitting France at the moment. In any case, we love this style!
