More than 230 artists and influencers including Léna Situations, Renaud, DJ Snake, Leïla Bekhti and Angèle signed a column on Tuesday June 4 in Release calling on Emmanuel Macron to react and “recognize the existence of the State of Palestine”.
“Spain, Ireland and Norway have taken the path of human dignity by officially recognizing the State of Palestine, joining the 143 countries which officially recognize the existence of a Palestinian State. But France, country of human rights, country of the Enlightenment, still does not speak out”, deplore these artists in their text.
“We, artists, content creators, public figures and citizens, with our differences but also these ties that unite us, we join our voices to tell the world that we recognize the existence of the State of Palestine, not only in response to the current massacre, but in the name of the right of this people to exist”add the signatories, which also include Médine, Léa Seydoux, Mister V and Adèle Exarchopoulos.
