But her fans will not be frankly surprised since the singer had unfortunately been outrage by a magazine some time earlier when the general public had always known her in a relationship with a man, the dancer Léo Walk. This outing had caused a stir in his personal life, especially with his family.
“My coming out has been stolen from me. I realized quite late that I was bi and it was complicated. I would have preferred to choose the moment“, says Angèle in her documentary. In the magazine SHE, last October, Angèle already evoked this bisexuality which now makes her an LGBT figure. “I would find it wonderful if it wasn’t a topic anymore, although objectively it still is, and I can’t blame people for bringing it up. At the same time, it is important to talk about it, because we all need representations“, she said then.
