Friday April 7, 2023, Damien Thévenot and Maya Lauqué received Franck Dubosc in Telematin on France 2. The actor was present to promote the new film in which he plays the leading roles: 10 more days without mom.
Summary: “After his dismissal, Antoine, former HRD of a major DIY brand, chose to stay at home to take care of his 4 children. A new job that he does most of the time alone, because his wife Isabelle (Aure Attika) is very busy with her new activity as a lawyer. For two years in the Mercier family, the roles have therefore clearly been reversed and Antoine is starting to hold up less and less in the face of the energy demanded of him by his small family. That’s why 10 days of vacation in the mountains promise to be a godsend for the stay-at-home dad he has become. Alas, an unexpected affair for Isabelle’s practice falls from the sky. She has no other solutions than letting Antoine go skiing alone for 10 days with the 4 children, and above all: without a mum!”
More stingy since he became a father
The opportunity for the guest to be questioned about his relationship to money. “I come from an environment where we didn’t have a lot of money so I’m always afraid of not having enough”, he said before making a revelation. “I have enough but I’m afraid I don’t have enough so I can be stingy about certain things.” However, the dad of Raphaël, 13, and Milhan, 10, admitted that when he spends it’s because he doesn’t have the notion. “But I’m careful.” And this “attention” increased when he became a father. “Now that I have children, it’s worse. Because every time I spend, I tell myself that I’m taking from their inheritance. You shouldn’t tell yourself that, ever!”
