The striker took advantage of a quick return from Olivier Archambault in the enclave to thread the needle while there was a little more than two minutes to go to the meeting.

Late 2-0 after Blake Winiecki and Nathan Perkovich scored for the Everblades, the Lions’ power play brought them back into the game.

The Lions will meet again with the Everblades on Saturday for the third duel in a series of six on opposing rinks.
