Anaïs Leleux, the ex-partner of Julien Bayou, announced Tuesday, March 5, to the media “Les Jours” that she had filed a complaint against the former leader of EELV for “moral harassment” and “fraudulent abuse of the state of weakness” .

The former member of EELV, who was the partner of Julien Bayou, deputy for Paris and former national secretary of the party, from 2017 to 2021, also filed a complaint against X for “failure to assist a person in danger”. Contacted by franceinfo, Anaïs Leleux’s lawyer, MyKim Yang-Paya, confirms the filing of this complaint with the public prosecutor on Tuesday.

“They knew about it but they didn’t react”

“In my complaint, I cite a certain number of activists and executives of the EELV party because not only were they aware of these actions, but they did not react. I am convinced that violent men could do nothing without them. men and women who, each time, protect their backs and allow their impunity. Filing a complaint against to their responsibilities”, she told “Jours”.

Following her first testimony in the summer of 2022, in the form of a distress email preceding a suicide attempt and in which she accused him of “break women”, the EELV investigation unit into sexist and sexual violence had taken action. The deputy, presumed innocent, then left the co-chairmanship of the environmentalist group in the National Assembly before stepping back from his duties at the head of the party. In February 2023, the EELV unit closed the investigation, due to not being able to hear the complainant, and while “no one else seized the cell”the party declared.
