Anaheim Ducks defenseman Jamie Drysdale will need surgery and will be sidelined for the next four to six months.

Drysdale suffered a torn labrum in his left shoulder in last Friday’s game between the Ducks and the Vegas Golden Knights. He will undergo surgery soon, the California squad announced on Monday afternoon.
A first-round pick in 2020, Drysdale has played eight games since the start of the season. It was used an average of 17 min 37 s per encounter. The 20-year-old had 32 points in 81 games last year, his first full season in the National League.
