In theaters on September 11, 2019, the filming of two me was a real ordeal for Ana Girardot, main actress of the film alongside François Civil. While she had been swimming in happiness since 2014 with Arthur de Villepin – whom she even called “the perfect man” with journalists from Gala – the young woman saw her relationship collapse only a few months before starting to work on the film directed by Cédric Klapisch. Left by the son of former Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin just before the start of filming, the young woman had to learn to manage this very difficult break under the cameras of the famous director.
Contrary to what one might think, the pain and sadness of Ana Girardot were a real boon for Cédric Klapisch who revealed on the show I love you etc. in September 2019 on France 2: “She got dumped right before the shoot… and that was great for me (…) I needed people who were bad“.”There’s something about her life that she shares in character (note: Ana Girardot plays the role of Mélanie Brunet in the film) and suddenly it gives a kind of truth, sincerity to the character and it’s true that it’s a good thing.” he added.

Fortunately since then, Ana Girardot has mourned her relationship with Arthur de Villepin and has even found love since she gave birth to a son named Jazz on December 4, 2020. The child would have been born from a relationship with a a former childhood sweetheart she met in New York while she was studying theater there, Oscar, with whom she had had a relationship several years earlier. The couple were even reportedly married in the past. Some images of this mysterious Oscar were revealed on Instagram by Ana Girardot’s mother after the birth of their child.
