The 25-year-old goaltender, acquired from the Nashville Predators on waivers at the start of the season, signed the first shutout of his career by making 47 saves. Ironically, it was the Lightning who drafted the Saskatoon native in the third round in 2016.

The “Bolts” were muzzled in their five massive attack situations. After 40 minutes of play, they had directed no less than 37 shots on the “Yotes” cage.

Heading into today’s duel, Ingram was 3-11-3 with a .907 save percentage as a substitute for Karel Vejmelka.

In the shootout, Steven Stamkos and Nick Schmaltz threaded the needle in the first round. A magnificent maneuver by Clayton Keller allowed the surprising Coyotes to win.

They will look for a fifth victory in eight games on Saturday against the Kings in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, the Lightning saw their three-game winning streak come to an end. He will resume the collar Saturday, in Vegas, against the Golden Knights.
