After the announcements of Prime Minister Jean Castex on Monday December 6, nightclubs will have to close their doors for four weeks from Friday December 10. Many managers denounce an injustice.

This is another big blow for nightclubs. To curb the spread of Covid-19, Prime Minister Jean Castex announced Monday, December 6 their closure for four weeks, from Friday December 10. A decision that angered many managers of establishments, like Christophe Longo, president of a collective of discotheques in the PACA region, who feels “point at”.

“It’s as if we were responsible for the fifth wave. We were the first to play the game with the government, to ask for a health pass with identity control”, he assures. A feeling of injustice all the stronger as the nightclubs reopened only five months ago, in July, after sixteen months of closure. Friday morning, the prefect of the PACA region will meet with several managers.
