Anne-Sophie Rigault, municipal councilor of the National Rally opposition in Avignon (Vaucluse), filed a complaint for death threats against Sylvie Mazzitelli, councilor of the various left municipal majority in charge of living together, reports France Bleu Vaucluse on Tuesday April 30.
The local leader of the RN claims that one of her colleagues heard Sylvie Mazzitelli utter death threats against her, during a break during a municipal council marked by numerous clashes between the majority and the opposition.
“This elected representative of the majority left the council because she wanted to slit my throat”reports Anne-Sophie Rigault. “I obviously strongly deny having made death threats against Madame Rigault”responds Sylvie Mazzitelli in a press release, who is available to the judicial authorities in order to answer questions “which could be asked”.
