The shock and indignation after the events of Sunday evening in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône). The buses of Olympique Lyonnais players and their supporters were violently stoned.
It was supposed to be a gala evening, but it turned into a nightmarish evening. Near the Vélodrome stadium, on Sunday October 29 at the end of the day, a bus of Lyon supporters was violently targeted, stoned by several individuals. A few minutes earlier, the OL team bus was targeted. The trainer Fabio Grosso who was inside was hit and bleeding.
OL have not filed a complaint for the moment
Faced with this outbreak of violence, two investigations were opened. Regarding the supporters’ bus, two people are currently in police custody. The Olympique Lyonnais club has not filed a complaint for the moment. According to the Marseille prosecutor, there was no failure in the security system. 500 police officers and gendarmes were deployed. Several supporters are also in the sights of justice for monkey cries and Nazi salutes.
