An open bar at the CAQ

In 2007, almost immediately after an interview with the leader of the PQ on Radio-Canada television, Bernard Drainville, until then a competent journalist, announced his candidacy. He thus demonstrated that the ethical fiber is not his main strength. By accepting this scheming, the PQ continued its descent into hell with even more conviction. After this entry into politics marked at the corner of dissimulation, the deputy Drainville, who became a minister in the brief Marois cabinet, was to distinguish himself again in a beautiful way: many Quebecers, including myself, do not want teachers, police officers or judges wave their religion like a flag; for us it’s a simple matter of civility, but there was no need to make a big deal out of it, indigestible and ridiculous, pompously named Charter of Quebec values […]. If the CAQ welcomes such a character today, it shows all those who did not know it yet in what sign it lodges. Everyone is welcome, the bar is open.
