An octogenarian missing in Montreal

(Montreal) Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a vulnerable octogenarian from Montreal who was last seen Tuesday afternoon in the borough of Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie–La-Petite-Patrie, in the northeast of the city.

Dinh Thiet Hoang, an 81-year-old man of Asian origin, was then driving his gray Toyota Corolla brand car, year 2011; the license plate number is J99 BNC.

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) reports that Mr. Hoang is experiencing health problems and may have difficulty finding his way. So there are reasons to fear for his health and safety.

Dinh Thiet Hoang is 1.68 meters tall, weighs about 60 kilograms, has black eyes and hair. He speaks French and Vietnamese.

At the time of his disappearance, he was dressed in a navy blue coat and jeans and wearing a blue cap with white writing.

Anyone with information about Dinh Thiet Hoang’s disappearance is asked to contact the police.
