An octogenarian missing in Montreal

The Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM) is asking for the public’s help in locating an 83-year-old man who has been missing since Sunday.

Erick-Antoine Guerrier was last seen around 1 p.m. at his home in the borough of Rosemont – La Petite-Prairie.

“His family fears for his health and safety,” said the SPVM, adding that the octogenarian could have difficulty finding his way.

Mr. Guerrier is used to frequenting the Forest shopping centers in Montreal North and Le Boulevard in Saint-Léonard as well as hospitals, according to the police.

The police are also asking citizens to check their sheds.

Indeed “the last time that Mr. Guerrier was located, he was in a shed,” said the police.

A black-skinned man who speaks French, Mr. Guerrier, who is 1.70 m tall, has gray hair and brown eyes and is blind in his right eye, whose eyelid is closed all the time.

When he was last seen, he was wearing jeans pants, a gray spring coat, a beige chapka-style toque, and black boots with white soles.
