Indeed, MEP Nadine Morano even went a long way in qualifying Nadia Lazzouni as an “Islamist” because her hair was covered on a tray: “ An Islamist on set!!! A direct plane ticket to Iran! No sailing in France, that’s for sure! It’s not our way of life! The veil is the tip of the iceberg of total female submission. #faceababa »wrote the politician while no law in France prohibits the wearing of the veil in public space for the simple and good reason that such a ban would offend the prince of conscious freedom that secularism protects.
