Found dead in a cell in Bangkok in July 2017, the young 25-year-old computer scientist was imprisoned there awaiting extradition, accused by the FBI of being at the origin of the largest transactional market on the dark web, AlphaBay.

In Alpha_02: The Alexandre Cazes mystery, the two journalists will retrace the journey of the man who had managed to accumulate a fortune in cryptocurrencies, and whose life and death remained nebulous in many respects. Among other things, for the first time, there will be interviews with his relatives.

Directed by Frédéric Nassif, the documentary, which is currently being filmed, will be presented in four 60-minute episodes by Radio-Canada during the 2022-2023 season.
