An investigation for “attempted intentional homicide” was opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office on Monday, September 26, after the discovery of an impact on a window of the headquarters of France Télévisions, located in the 15th arrondissement of the capital. The facts occurred on Monday evening, around 9:30 p.m. “A journalist from France Télévisions heard loud impact noises in a window near his office, details the president of the public audiovisual group, Delphine Ernotte, in a message sent to all employees on Wednesday. The projectile left a small impact but did not pass through the window. (…) Our colleague was not injured, but was obviously very shaken by the incident.”

In his post, Delphine Ernotte announces that the company has filed a complaint. “We have reinforced security around the building, she says. National Police teams now make frequent rounds day and night around the premises.” The investigations were entrusted to the Regional Directorate of the Judicial Police of the Paris Police Prefecture.
