A high school student was the victim of a serious stabbing attack, this Friday, April 22, 2022 within his school, the Louis Lumières vocational school in Chelles, in Seine-et-Marne. An investigation was opened for attempted murder. This Friday evening, the Prosecutor of Meaux returned to the course of the facts and the state of health of the high school student.
The attack happened in the middle of the morning. an outside man at the establishment enters the vocational high school Louis Lumières. Several times, he stabs one of the students. The 16-year-old presented “several wounds on the back and flank” detailed Laureline Peyrefitte, the public prosecutor of Meaux in her press release. “It appears from the first investigations that the teenager was the victim first of blows with his bare hands and then of stab wounds, on the floors of the school building during the morning break”said the prosecutor.
When help arrived around 10:30 a.m., the victim’s life was in danger. He was quickly transferred to a Parisian hospital, and was operated on. The public prosecutor of Meaux indicates that his condition is stable as of Friday evening.
A investigation was opened for attempted murder and was entrusted to the regional directorate of the judicial police. It has a double objective, on the one hand to reconstruct the sequence of events, on the other to identify the author(s). Classes have been suspended and a listening unit was opened for staff and students, for its part indicated the rectorate.
