An investigation opened after Judith Godrèche’s rape complaint against director Benoît Jacquot

The investigations were entrusted to the Minors Protection Brigade and concern in particular offenses of “rape of a minor under 15 years old”.

A preliminary investigation was opened after the complaint of rape of a minor by actress Judith Godrèche against director Benoît Jacquot, the Paris prosecutor’s office announced on Wednesday February 7, requested by AFP.

Investigation “concerns the offenses of rape of a minor under 15 years of age by a person in authority, rape, violence by a partner, and sexual assault of a minor over 15 years of age by a person in authority, all of the facts reported having taken place between 1986 and 1992 “adds the public prosecutor, specifying that the investigations were entrusted to the Minor Protection Brigade (BPM).

Wednesday, on France Inter, Judith Godrèche announced that she had filed a complaint against Benoît Jacquot, who managed her and maintained a relationship with her for several years from the age of 14. In the series Icon of French Movie theater on Arte, the actress and director had very recently mentioned this relationship with the filmmaker 25 years her senior, which would have started in the spring of 1986, when she was just 14 years old, and would have ended in the early 1990s.
