An employee of the community of municipalities of Munster was assaulted by three people when the center closed, around 8 p.m. this Friday. An attack described as violent by the Haut-Rhin prefecture. He was slightly injured and was taken to hospital.
“The prefect of Haut-Rhin and the director general of ARS Grand Est strongly denounce this unacceptable act. Nothing can justify such violence“details the prefecture in a press release. State services provide support to the entire team mobilized in the vaccination center and specify that a psychological cell will be implemented for the employees of the vaccination center if they wish.
“So that this essential mission in the service of the population can be carried out successfully, the vaccination centers of the department are the subject of permanent attention by the internal security forces. This mobilization will continue“adds the prefecture.
Three suspects on the run
Regarding the investigation, the three suspects are still at large. The prosecutor of the Republic of Colmar opened an investigation for “violence in assembly with weapon and premeditation”.
