An investigation was opened in the fall of 2023 after a report from the General Inspectorate of National Education targeting the Stanislas private school in Paris, the prosecution reported on Friday January 19. The procedure concerns in particular suspicions of “public insult due to sexual orientation or gender identity”.

The report was based on a report, made last summer and revealed by Mediapart on Tuesday. The document stated “drifts” homophobic and sexist in this prestigious private establishment under contract located in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, which welcomes some 3,500 students from kindergarten to preparatory classes.

The Minister of Education, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, announced on Thursday that she was going to relinquish the report on Stanislas, where her children are educated, and the follow-up of its recommendations, as franceinfo learned from his entourage, confirming information from BFMTV.
