A fire broke out this morning around 10:30 am on the first floor of a building which has 5, located at 52 boulevard de l’Evasion in Cergy. An eighteen-month-old baby is between life and death.
He was extracted from the rubble before being transferred in absolute urgency to Garches hospital. Seven other people were poisoned. They were transported to Pontoise hospital.
Nearly 50 firefighters mobilized for more than 3 hours
Two slightly intoxicated firefighters were transported to Beaumont sur Oise hospital. In total, forty-eight firefighters and thirteen machines had to intervene to put out the flames.
It took firefighters three and a half hours to bring the flames under control. One hundred and twenty people were able to return to their homes after the fire.
