After the fire at the door of the town hall of Bordeaux on Thursday March 23, on the sidelines of the rally against the pension reform, the police custody of the five individuals implicated in this file was lifted, specifies, this Saturday, the parquet floor of Bordeaux, in a press release. The five people were referred to the prosecution on Saturday. One was indicted for “arson”the other four for “participation in an armed mob”.

Concerning the individual accused of having deliberately set fire to the wooden gate, a judicial investigation for “damage to property by a dangerous means” has been opened. He was indicted for “arson”. And the prosecution requested his placement in pre-trial detention. He will soon appear before the judge of freedoms and detention.

Provisional detention requested by the prosecution for three other people

Concerning the four other people, three adults and one minor, prosecuted for gathering with unauthorized weapon, the prosecution also requested that the adults be remanded in custody with a warrant of committal and asked that they appear before the Bordeaux Criminal Court, from Monday.

As for the minor, he was also referred for the purpose of being tried in the juvenile court. The prosecution again requires his placement under judicial control, with in particular the obligation to be placed in a closed educational center. The juvenile court hearing has been set for May 11.
