This Monday, November 27, 2023, Faustine Bollaert received on the set of her show It starts today, Benjamin, a father whose daughter Estelle was murdered. The man gave a poignant testimony and recounted the day when his own partner killed their own child to “take revenge” for wanting to leave her.
On November 12, 2023, the young woman killed Estelle, their 3-year-old daughter, with 350 scissor cuts, in their family home. The man recounts how his partner, initially sweet and loving, transformed into a suspicious woman refusing to allow him to spend any time with their daughter and also rejecting any form of affection. After several years of fighting, Benjamin then decided to separate from the mother of his family and the question of custody which would have pushed the young woman into madness.
Until the terrible day of November 2020, initially a morning like any other. “I take my shower, I go up the stairs and I hear murmuring in her room. But I didn’t hear Estelle answering… I push the bedroom door, and there I see Estelle lying on her back. I see the blood, and all these blows, and I see a black shadow leaning over her, it was her mother. She turns to me and says ‘it was you who did this, you wanted to separate us'” he sadly remembered.
Benjamin’s testimony having caused a stir on social networks, the young man was invited to the set of Do not touch My TV this Tuesday, November 28, 2023. After telling his story once again, The man who lost his daughter explained that his former partner will not go to prison for her horrible crime. “Until the investigating chamber I always kept hope, I thought they were going to make the right decision and it was on November 16 that they announced that she was irresponsible. When I heard that I was revolted. Towards my daughter it is inaudible and it is an incredible lack of respect!” he said.
