She is a devastated woman who has experienced the unthinkable. She appears before the criminal court of Vaucluse, supported by her daughter and the rest of her family, united in pain, without saying a single word. An extraordinary trial, where 51 men are accused of aggravated rape of this mother, who was unknowingly drugged by her husband. For ten years, at their home in Mazan (Vaucluse), Dominique Pélicot, now 71, drugged his wife with anxiolytics and then sexually delivered her to strangers, recruited on a website that is now closed. The husband filmed these forced relationships.

Nearly 70 people are said to have participated, 50 will be tried in addition to the main accused. He admits the facts in their entirety and does not seek to exonerate himself according to his lawyer. 92 rapes were allegedly committed on Gisèle Pélicot, by men aged 22 to 70 from all walks of life. In this case, the victim could have requested a closed hearing, but she did not wish to do so.
