An explosion occurred this Monday, January 17 at the start of the evening in Roubaix, injuring 4 people, two of them seriously. The SDIS du Nord teams secured the premises.
A huge explosion was heard for several kilometers around around 7:15 p.m. The explosion of a house, due to a gas leak in the Potennerie district rue Jean Moulin in Roubaix left four injured, two of them in serious condition.
According to the firefighters who arrived on the scene, a resident was inside the duplex apartment where the explosion took place. The report shows two seriously injured who were transported by the SAMU teams to the Lille University Hospital and two slightly injured, taken care of by the Provo hospital in Roubaix.
The research carried out by the canine team of Codis 59 made it possible to verify the absence of other potential victims in the rubble. An investigation is underway to determine the origin of the explosion.
