Thursday, May 26, in London (United Kingdom), fans were able to attend an exceptional concert by ABBA, provided by holograms. “I cried four times, when I saw Agnetha’s face“, confides a man. “It was so similar! Even better than I imagined“, enthuses a woman. The holograms ignited the stage, for a concert more real than nature. They reconstitute their movements and their faces as they were in 1979.
The members of ABBA, now in their 70s, are happy with this success. The digital shows will continue daily through October. “From the 90s, there will be the musical Mamma Mia, then two films. All this is going to fuel a phenomenon that won’t go away“, explains Jean-Marie Potiez, biographer of ABBA. Years later, Madonna, Carla Bruni… everyone sings the iconic hits of the group.
