An Enedis agent died while working on a high-voltage line in Gironde, another seriously burned

An Enedis agent died on Thursday March 28 in the afternoon, in Bernos-Beaulac, in Gironde, while working on a high-voltage line, reports France Bleu Gironde. A second agent is seriously injured. The circumstances of the tragedy remain to be determined.

Six Enedis agents were working at a place called Piaut around 3:30 p.m. A 35-year-old agent was electrocuted while working on a 20,000 volt high voltage line. Another agent, aged 32, was seriously burned. The latter was transported in absolute emergency to the François-Xavier Michelet center, dedicated to severe burns, at the Bordeaux University Hospital.
