An employee of a company responsible for intervening on ATMs was kidnapped and forced to steal large sums of money under the threat of an explosive belt, Wednesday March 9 in L’Haÿ-les- Roses (Val-de-Marne), learned franceinfo from concordant sources. At 9 a.m., the company employee was accosted by an armed individual. He put him in a white van, in which other individuals put an explosive belt on him, according to a police source. The individuals then forced him to withdraw large sums of money from at least two ATMs of the BNP bank in Bagneux and Montrouge, in the Hauts-de-Seine, before leaving the victim free around 11 a.m. Kremlin-Bicêtre, in the Val-de-Marne. An investigation is opened and the suspects are sought.
