This meeting comes as the newspaper Release publishes an investigation claiming that the former national secretary of EELV was under the surveillance of feminist party activists for several months. Green MEP Karima Delli denounced on Twitter a “inquisition” led by these activists. “It’s time to talk to each other now before it’s too late”, she adds.

Targeted by accusations of psychological violence on an ex-companion, Julien Bayou resigned from his post as national secretary of EELV on September 19. A report was made in July to the internal investigation unit on sexual and gender-based violence.
